PZ-28 Polyfunctional Aziridine

Trimethylolpropane tris(2-methyl-1-aziridine propionate)

PZ-28 is a propylene imine based tri-functional polyaziridine with a functionality of 2.8. It is used to cross-link carboxyl functional coatings, inks, overprint varnishes, and adhesives to increase the physical and chemical properties.

PZ-28 Polyfunctional Aziridine has consistent low color and low viscosity. Low color minimizes color changes within the application while low viscosity creates an easier process for pumping and mixing the cross-linker into formulations.

This polyfunctional aziridine works as the aziridine end groups react with active hydrogen as found on the carboxyl groups of acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions. For more information, see: Reaction Mechanism.
